New Year, New Home, New Name

Tim and I have moved into a new apartment! I decided to create a fresh new blog to document our adventures together. Once I am able to fully spruce up the new pad I will share details/pictures, but until then bear with me! New Year, New Home, New Blog Name.

Merry Christmas . Happy New Year

Last year was the first time I wasn’t able to be home in the PNW or with my family and friends for Christmas. I was way too bummed and felt as though I was missing out on moments and events with special people. This year I made sure that I was able to be back home for the holiday. It was great spending time with my family and seeing how much my niece and nephews have grown! When I arrived in Portland I was informed of a scary moment with my dad that occurred earlier in the day; I’ll just say he is my ultimate Christmas present this year.

Of course I also had a wonderful time making memories with friends… going to the various stops at old hangouts, touring new homes and a mini afternoon of hopping around to new (new to me) Portland staples. I loved Luc Lac and Jackknife Bar ! And I always have to squeeze in the time to enjoy a Ruby at McMenamins.

Once again my trip home was too short… on to planning the next vacation!
